First Hello to Music: Kıymet Yıldız Preschool Students Discover Music at Melisa Karan Art Center

The 3-6 year old students from Kıymet Yıldız Preschool visited Melisa Karan Art Center and were introduced to the piano, violin, guitar, and drums for the first time through interactive games.

Melisa Karan, the owner of Melisa Karan Art Center and a music educator, emphasized the importance of early exposure to music for children and stated, “The earlier they start, the more successful they will be in their future artistic lives. Through this method, not only do the children get to know and discover themselves, but we also understand their interests and aptitudes for different instruments. This helps us guide them more effectively. First, we introduce and explain the instruments to them. They have the opportunity to touch and explore the instruments. Then, we introduce them to music through games and dance.”

Karan also expressed her gratitude to Kıymet Yıldız Preschool, its teachers, and parents for their sensitivity and appreciation of art, stating, “We worked together on this initiative. We do not charge any fees for this experience. I would like to emphasize that our doors are always open to other preschool children who would like to participate.”
